Ross Judge

Treasurer

I volunteered to be on the MS Wellington committee because I have a daughter with MS. I am an economist and I work in policy and finance with the Ministry of Health. I have been treasurer for a number of organisations (school and church) and enjoy working with numbers. We employ an accountant to do the technical stuff.

I joined the committee in 2015 following my wife’s diagnosis with MS and, as a trained Health and Safety representative, I focus on Health, Safety & Wellbeing issues to support employee participation in health and safety and to promote wellbeing in the Society. My wife and live and work in Lower Hutt and Wellington and enjoy touring the country in our campervan with our little schnoodle, Jasper.

I’ve been a member of the MS Wellington Committee since 2018. My day job is as a lawyer. I live in the eastern suburbs and spend quite a bit of my spare time walking around the coast.

I joined the Wellington Committee in August 2023. I graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Victoria University in 2022. I have a friend with MS which led me to wanting to do something to help.

In my spare time I love reading, socialising, music, travel and writing. I am looking forward to being part of the committee and working with everyone!

I joined the MS committee in August 2023, having spent the last ten years as a software developer and systems analyst.

I came to Aotearoa-New Zealand to study a post-graduate diploma in Information Technology. I am building connections to my new home and the amazing people of NZ and want to contribute to the community as much as possible.

I look forward to being part of the committee and working with everyone to support people with MS in the greater Wellington region.
