Meet the Team

Debs became Lead Community Advisor in June 2025, from a background in health and health management. She is also a Registered Nurse.

Debs has three kids and four grandkids (although she doesn't look old enough!) and lives on the Kapiti Coast.

Debs is looking forward to serving the Wellington MS' Community whilst exploring a new sector of the health sector.

Maria Luisa has lots of experience including in holistic health, adaptive equipment and recently completed a BA in Social Anthropology. She joined the team in late March 2025.

Suzie is an experienced communications professional, with a wealth of experience in the not-for-profit and disability sectors. Suzie lives with multiple sclerosis too and is eager to utilise her talents whilst giving back to the local MS community. Suzie is enthusiastic about helping MS Wellington raise more money to benefit local people with MS.
