The Wellington MS Committee is voluntary and is made up of a president, treasurer, secretary and 5 committee members. The constitution allows up to 12 committee members but as with many voluntary organisations today.
The MS Committee are looking for people to serve on the committee or assist in its work on an advisory/voluntary basis. The work can be varied to accommodate personal and health needs and, I know from personal experience, how rewarding the experience can be.
The Committee currently meets once a month, for up to two hours from 5.30pm. Preparation and reading committee papers is required beforehand – approx. another two hours.
Once committee members are comfortable with their roles they can then take on responsibility for specific activities but this is voluntary. You can influence your level of commitment.
Please think about this worthwhile role – we need your help. If you are interested, please contact us via the details on the contact page
